THROWN Brisbane 2027: the confirmed date

THROWN is confirmed for Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 February 2027 at The Tivoli. This is a confirmed Concert date in Brisbane: the venue and day have been published by the official seller.

With Boundaries, 156/Silence, Volatile Ways. On sale since 28 August 2026.

The show is part of THROWN Brisbane 2027. All the Brisbane dates we have verified for this run: Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 February 2027. If a second or third night appears, it will be added here, and subscribers to the alert hear about it by email the same day.

Why does this matter for Brisbane in particular? International tours do not always include Queensland, and when they do, the city often gets fewer nights than Sydney or Melbourne. A single Brisbane date for a popular Metal act tends to be the one that sells out first on the Australian leg, simply because supply is lower. Fans from the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and the Northern Rivers all compete for the same tickets.

Before you buy, check three things on the official listing: the door and start times, the age restrictions (some Brisbane venues run 18+ shows, others are all-ages with conditions), and whether the tickets are mobile-only. We list only information that has been officially published. Anything still missing — support act, set times, extra releases — will be updated as it is announced.

The venue for THROWN Brisbane 2027: The Tivoli

THROWN plays The Tivoli.

The Tivoli is at 52 Costin Street, on the quieter northern side of Fortitude Valley. Fortitude Valley and Bowen Hills stations are both within roughly ten to fifteen minutes on foot, and buses along Wickham Street and Ann Street drop you closer. After the show many people walk back towards Brunswick Street for a late drink or to the station. Street parking is limited and time-restricted, so a commercial car park in the Valley or rideshare is more reliable if you are driving. On busy weekend nights, allow extra time for rideshare pick-ups in the Valley.

Brisbane’s concert venues each have a distinct character, and it helps to know which kind you are heading to. The arena at Boondall, in the northern suburbs, is a classic indoor bowl with a standing floor and tiered seats. Suncorp Stadium in Milton is the city’s big rectangular stadium, normally home to rugby league, and becomes a concert venue a handful of times a year. The Riverstage sits in a natural amphitheatre in the City Botanic Gardens, with lawn and terraced areas, and the QPAC forecourt at South Bank turns a cultural precinct into an open-air stage by the river.

In Fortitude Valley, The Fortitude Music Hall on Brunswick Street is a modern hall with a large floor and balcony, while The Tivoli on Costin Street is an older brick room that has hosted touring bands for decades. In Woolloongabba, The Princess Theatre is one of the oldest theatre buildings in the city.

Whatever the room, read the venue’s conditions of entry before the night: bag size, re-entry and age rules vary and are applied at the door, not negotiated there.

Tickets for THROWN in Brisbane: sale status

With Boundaries, 156/Silence, Volatile Ways. On sale since 28 August 2026.

If the show is already on general sale, the main question is what remains. Check the official ticketing page directly rather than relying on screenshots: availability changes during the day as reserved carts expire and returned tickets reappear. When a listing says “sold out”, Brisbane shows sometimes reopen in small releases, especially in the final week as production seats are freed.

If the presales have not opened yet, prepare in advance. Make sure your Ticketek or Ticketmaster account is active, your payment card is saved and you know which presale you qualify for — fan club, promoter, card or telco. Join the online queue a few minutes before opening time; the order is often randomised for those already waiting at the start.

Note the time zone. Queensland does not change its clocks, so between October and April an on-sale advertised for Sydney time opens an hour earlier in Brisbane. Our alert always states Queensland time.

Resale: use the official resale or transfer function of the original seller. Tickets from strangers on social media are a common source of scams around big Concert dates in South East Queensland, and a fake ticket cannot be fixed at the gate.

Price guide for THROWN in Brisbane

The official seller sets the final prices for THROWN at The Tivoli, and they can include dynamic pricing. As a planning aid, here is the range we see for comparable Metal shows in Brisbane rooms of this type:

  • Cheapest seats or general admission: about A$69–A$109
  • Standard reserved seats: about A$109–A$159
  • Best seats or front-of-floor: about A$159–A$209
  • VIP and premium packages: from A$209 up to A$269 and beyond

For a single reference figure, a typical mid-venue seat for a show of this kind sits around A$139. Booking fees, card surcharges and delivery charges come on top, and they differ between Ticketek and Ticketmaster. VIP packages vary a great deal: some include early entry or a merchandise item, others a lounge or soundcheck access. Read the inclusions rather than assuming.

Prices on resale platforms are not covered by this guide. In Queensland, reselling tickets far above face value is restricted for events at major state venues, and many tours also cap resale prices through their own official exchange. If a listing looks far too cheap or far too expensive, walk away.

Want to know if cheaper tickets come back? The alert covers price releases for this event.

Before you go: THROWN Brisbane checklist

The Tivoli is at 52 Costin Street, on the quieter northern side of Fortitude Valley. Fortitude Valley and Bowen Hills stations are both within roughly ten to fifteen minutes on foot, and buses along Wickham Street and Ann Street drop you closer. After the show many people walk back towards Brunswick Street for a late drink or to the station. Street parking is limited and time-restricted, so a commercial car park in the Valley or rideshare is more reliable if you are driving. On busy weekend nights, allow extra time for rideshare pick-ups in the Valley.

  • Ticket: make sure it is in your official app and loads without signal — reception at packed venues can be patchy.
  • ID: bring photo ID if you plan to buy alcohol; Queensland venues check it.
  • Bag: keep it small. Large bags are often refused, and cloakroom capacity is limited.
  • Weather: in summer, sun protection and a light layer for storms; in winter, a jumper for outdoor shows after sunset.
  • Transport: tap on with a go card or contactless card; the fare is a flat 50 cents on TransLink.

For THROWN at The Tivoli, arriving early has a real benefit if your ticket is general admission: the queue order decides where you stand. For seated tickets, arriving 30 to 45 minutes before the headliner is usually comfortable.

If the show is outdoors and lightning approaches, staff may pause the performance and ask the crowd to shelter or wait. That is standard practice in South East Queensland storm season, not a cancellation. Follow staff instructions and the official channels of the venue.

And if anything changes — time, date, venue — our subscribers receive an email the moment it is officially announced.

Seeing THROWN Brisbane live

In Brisbane that means a heaving pit at The Tivoli or The Princess Theatre in Woolloongabba, and loyal fans from as far as Toowoomba.

The THROWN Brisbane 2027 run brings THROWN to The Tivoli, and the Brisbane date is the one most Queenslanders will travel for. We do not publish predicted setlists; we prefer to show only what has actually happened. If THROWN has played Brisbane before, our history table further down lists verified past shows, with venues and dates.

Is the date official? Yes. It takes place on Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 February 2027 at The Tivoli, Brisbane, and that date has been published by the official ticket seller.

Brisbane’s calendar in 2027 has a good deal around this show. Other artists on fans’ radar for the city this year include:

Carpenter Brut Brisbane 2027 · Beartooth Brisbane 2027 · System of a Down Brisbane 2027 · Paleface Swiss Brisbane 2027 · In Hearts Wake Brisbane 2027 · Make Them Suffer Brisbane 2027

Each link goes to its own page with the date, venue and status — confirmed or still to be announced. Setting several alerts is free, and each one only sends an email when there is something concrete: a presale code, an on-sale time, a new date or a change.

A last tip: if you cannot get tickets for this show, an artist from the list above playing a smaller Valley room the same month can be a very good night too, often with less competition for tickets. Smaller rooms in Fortitude Valley and Woolloongabba also tend to sell out more slowly than arena dates, which gives you time to compare.

We have not yet verified a past Brisbane show by THROWN. Only concerts we can confirm from reliable records are listed here.

Presale code THROWN Brisbane: what to know

A presale code for THROWN in Brisbane in 2027 only exists once a tour is announced, so be careful with anyone offering one earlier. In Australia, codes are tied to a specific presale: the artist’s own list, a promoter, a bank card or a phone provider. Each one opens at a set time, usually on Ticketek or Ticketmaster depending on the venue, and lasts a day or two before general sale. Our free alert sends the real code as soon as it is published, together with the window and the start time in Queensland time.

The THROWN fan presale for Brisbane

The first presale for a tour is often the artist’s own. Fans who joined a mailing list or a paid fan club get a code or a unique link, sometimes only after registering in advance. For a Brisbane date at The Tivoli, this is usually the best chance of floor or front-section tickets. Registration windows can close days before the presale itself, so it pays to join early. We report the registration deadline as well as the presale date when they are announced.

Promoter and venue presales for THROWN

Australian promoters run their own member presales: My Live Nation for Live Nation tours, a members’ list for Frontier Touring shows, and similar lists for TEG Live and Chugg Entertainment. They usually take place the day after the artist presale. Some Brisbane venues also send presale access to their newsletter subscribers. Membership is free in most cases, but you need an account set up before the window opens, so create it as soon as THROWN is announced for Brisbane.

American Express and Mastercard presales for THROWN in Brisbane

For many national tours, a bank card partner gets its own presale window. American Express has long run presales for major Australian concerts, and Mastercard sometimes offers priority tickets for selected tours. Access is normally limited to cardholders and is checked at payment, not with a public code. If you hold one of these cards, check which partner is attached to the THROWN tour when the dates appear, because the partner changes from one tour to the next.

THROWN via Telstra Plus and Optus Perks presales

Australian phone providers also buy presale access. Telstra Plus members and Optus Perks customers have had early tickets for a range of tours, usually through the provider’s app or rewards site. As with card presales, the partner depends on the tour and is only revealed when the dates are announced. If you are with Telstra or Optus, make sure your rewards account is active before the Brisbane on-sale so you do not lose time logging in on the morning.

THROWN tickets: queues, limits and the Brisbane time difference

On the day, Ticketek and Ticketmaster use online waiting rooms. Join a few minutes early on one device, do not refresh, and know which seats you want. Ticket limits per order are common. The biggest local trap is time: Queensland stays on AEST all year, so during daylight saving months a presale listed for Sydney or Melbourne time opens an hour earlier in Brisbane. Our alerts for THROWN always show Brisbane time.
