This one is real. Sombr is confirmed for Monday 19 & Tuesday 20 April 2027 at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, on the You Are the Reason Tour tour. This is a confirmed Concert date in Brisbane: the venue and day have been published by the official seller.

On sale since Tuesday 8 September 2026 (extra Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney shows added on the same day). Pre-sales: completed — the artist pre-sale ran on Thursday 3 September 2026 and the promoter pre-sale on Monday 7 September 2026.

Brisbane dates on record for this tour: Monday 19 & Tuesday 20 April 2027.

A confirmed date changes what you should be watching for. Before the announcement, the question was whether Brisbane would get a show at all. Now it is about access: presale windows, the speed of the queue, how many tickets each tier holds, and whether the promoter keeps a reserve for later. Australian tours often hold back production seats until the stage design is finalised, then release them a week or two before the date. Those late releases are rarely publicised widely.

That is where our alert is useful even after a show is on sale. We track this Concert listing and email you if tickets come back, if a new date is added in Brisbane, or if the event is moved or rescheduled. Weather-related changes are not unusual for outdoor events in Queensland’s summer, and indoor shows can shift too when a tour is re-routed.

Keep your confirmation email and buy only from the official seller or its approved resale service.

About Brisbane Entertainment Centre, home of Sombr Brisbane 2027

The Brisbane show by Sombr is booked at Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Knowing the room changes how you buy: on a standing floor you are choosing between arriving early or not, while in a seated venue the price tier decides your view.

The arena is built beside Boondall station on Queensland Rail’s Shorncliffe line, which makes the train the obvious choice: board at Central, Roma Street or Fortitude Valley and allow roughly half an hour, then it is a short walk from the platform to the doors. After the show expect a crowd on the platform and extra patience while trains fill. Drivers come in via Sandgate Road or the Gateway Motorway exits and use the paid on-site car parks; leaving after a sold-out night can take a long time. Rideshare pick-up is signposted, but surge pricing is common at curfew.

A rough guide to Brisbane rooms. Larger venues such as the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Suncorp Stadium sell in sections, with floor, lower and upper levels priced differently. The outdoor sites — Riverstage and the South Bank forecourt — are mostly general admission, with the best spots taken by the people who queue. The Valley halls are standing rooms with limited balcony seating, so if you need to sit, check the ticket type carefully before buying.

Accessibility varies between new and heritage buildings. If you need wheelchair-accessible seating, a companion ticket under the Companion Card scheme, or other access arrangements, contact the ticket seller’s accessibility line rather than buying a standard ticket and hoping it can be swapped. Those allocations are limited, and they are usually handled separately from the main on-sale.

We do not publish seating maps we cannot verify; the official one appears on the ticketing page for this Concert event.

How to get Sombr Brisbane tickets without the stress

Here is the short version of how tickets for this date are being sold, based on official information: On sale since Tuesday 8 September 2026 (extra Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney shows added on the same day). Pre-sales: completed — the artist pre-sale ran on Thursday 3 September 2026 and the promoter pre-sale on Monday 7 September 2026.

For most Australian tours, the order is fan presale, promoter or partner presale, then general sale. Each stage has a fixed allocation, so a sold-out presale does not mean the general sale will be empty — it means that stage’s share is gone. Keep trying at the next stage.

A few points help on the day. Use one device and one browser tab; multiple tabs can put you behind yourself in the queue. Know what you want before you get in — floor or seat, how many tickets, the maximum you will pay. And do not refresh a waiting room page once you are in it.

Look out for ticket limits per account (often four to eight) and for named or mobile-only tickets that cannot be easily passed on. If plans change, the original seller’s transfer or resale feature is the safe way out.

Already have tickets? Set the alert anyway. We tell subscribers if Sombr adds a second Brisbane night, if the date or venue moves, or if better seats are released close to the show — useful if you bought high up and want to upgrade.

Price guide for Sombr Brisbane

The official seller sets the final prices for Sombr at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and they can include dynamic pricing. As a planning aid, here is the range we see for comparable Indie Pop shows in Brisbane rooms of this type:

• Cheapest seats or general admission: about A$59–A$99
• Standard reserved seats: about A$99–A$149
• Best seats or front-of-floor: about A$149–A$199
• VIP and premium packages: from A$199 up to A$259 and beyond

For a single reference figure, a typical mid-venue seat for a show of this kind sits around A$129. Booking fees, card surcharges and delivery charges come on top, and they differ between Ticketek and Ticketmaster. VIP packages vary a great deal: some include early entry or a merchandise item, others a lounge or soundcheck access. Read the inclusions rather than assuming.

Prices on resale platforms are not covered by this guide. In Queensland, reselling tickets far above face value is restricted for events at major state venues, and many tours also cap resale prices through their own official exchange. If a listing looks far too cheap or far too expensive, walk away.

Before you go: Sombr Brisbane checklist

The arena is built beside Boondall station on Queensland Rail’s Shorncliffe line, which makes the train the obvious choice: board at Central, Roma Street or Fortitude Valley and allow roughly half an hour, then it is a short walk from the platform to the doors. After the show expect a crowd on the platform and extra patience while trains fill. Drivers come in via Sandgate Road or the Gateway Motorway exits and use the paid on-site car parks; leaving after a sold-out night can take a long time. Rideshare pick-up is signposted, but surge pricing is common at curfew.

• Ticket: make sure it is in your official app and loads without signal — reception at packed venues can be patchy.
• ID: bring photo ID if you plan to buy alcohol; Queensland venues check it.
• Bag: keep it small. Large bags are often refused, and cloakroom capacity is limited.
• Weather: in summer, sun protection and a light layer for storms; in winter, a jumper for outdoor shows after sunset.
• Transport: tap on with a go card or contactless card; the fare is a flat 50 cents on TransLink.

For Sombr at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, arriving early has a real benefit if your ticket is general admission: the queue order decides where you stand. For seated tickets, arriving 30 to 45 minutes before the headliner is usually comfortable.

If the show is outdoors and lightning approaches, staff may pause the performance and ask the crowd to shelter or wait. That is standard practice in South East Queensland storm season, not a cancellation. Follow staff instructions and the official channels of the venue.

And if anything changes — time, date, venue — our subscribers receive an email the moment it is officially announced.

Seeing Sombr Brisbane live

In Brisbane that means a Fortitude Valley crowd raised on BIGSOUND showcases and the Go-Betweens legacy, singing along from the first chorus.

The You Are the Reason Tour run brings Sombr to Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and the Brisbane date is the one most Queenslanders will travel for. We do not publish predicted setlists; we prefer to show only what has actually happened. If Sombr has played Brisbane before, our history table further down lists verified past shows, with venues and dates.

Is the date official? Yes. It takes place on Monday 19 & Tuesday 20 April 2027 at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane, and that date has been published by the official ticket seller.

Brisbane’s calendar in 2027 has a good deal around this show. Other artists on fans’ radar for the city this year include:

Each link goes to its own page with the date, venue and status — confirmed or still to be announced. Setting several alerts is free, and each one only sends an email when there is something concrete: a presale code, an on-sale time, a new date or a change.

A last tip: if you cannot get tickets for this show, an artist from the list above playing a smaller Valley room the same month can be a very good night too, often with less competition for tickets. Smaller rooms in Fortitude Valley and Woolloongabba also tend to sell out more slowly than arena dates, which gives you time to compare.
