Looking for INXS Brisbane 2027? There is nothing to book. INXS retired from touring in 2012, has staged no reunion since, and lost its singer Michael Hutchence back in 1997. Here is a careful summary of where the band stands, a look at its legacy for Queensland fans, and our free alert if you want certainty.
INXS Brisbane 2027: verified status
We checked the band's record on 9 October 2026. INXS has no Brisbane show, no 2027 tour and no reunion plans in the public domain. Its touring life ended with a concert on 11 November 2012 in Perth, where the band confirmed it was performing for the last time.
Since then the group has not released new studio work. The original line-up has not existed since Michael Hutchence's death in November 1997, and the post-1997 versions of the band, with guest and replacement vocalists, also came to a stop in 2012. For Brisbane audiences, this means any 2027 ticket bearing the INXS name, unless it is plainly a tribute production, is not connected to an official event. We will revise this page immediately if a verified announcement is made.
INXS Brisbane 2027: the band's legacy in Queensland
Across the 1980s and 1990s INXS toured Australia extensively, and Brisbane fans saw the band during the years of its greatest success. We have not been able to confirm specific Brisbane venues or dates from those tours, so we are deliberately keeping this general rather than repeating unverified claims.
What is certain is the scale of the music's reach. Songs such as Need You Tonight, Never Tear Us Apart and Original Sin remain staples of Australian radio, and the band's catalogue gained a fresh generation of listeners after the 2014 television miniseries about its rise. The 2019 documentary Mystify later focused on Hutchence's life and personality. For Queensland fans, those are the living parts of the INXS story in 2027.
