The Lions play their home games at the Gabba from March to August. Friday and Saturday night matches draw big crowds from across south-east Queensland, and the Woolloongabba pubs fill well before the bounce. The AFL had not released its 2027 fixture as of 9 October 2026, so individual dates are to be confirmed.

Getting to Brisbane Lions — AFL home season 2027
Most Brisbane gig-goers use Translink: Queensland Rail City network trains, Brisbane Metro and bus services, and the council’s CityCat and ferry routes on the river, all on the same go card or contactless bank card at the flat 50-cent fare. Fortitude Valley, Roma Street, South Brisbane and Boondall are the stations that matter most on concert nights. Check the last train home before you set out — late-night frequencies thin out on suburban lines — and expect driving into the Valley or South Bank on show nights to be slow.
